When is the lighthouse open? On the 2nd Saturday of the month April thru February 10 am to 3 pm and on the 1st Saturday in March 10 am to 4pm(Whale of a Day Festival)

Do I need identification? Yes, persons 18 yrs and older require a photo ID.

Can I take photos?  Yes, Photos are permitted. Please note large camera bags or backpacks are not permitted up the stairs, and are subject to search.

Can I bring my pet? No pets are allowed.

Can children climb the tower? Yes, however not recommended for
children under 7 years of age.

What is the price of admission? Admission is free of charge!

Are food and drink permitted inside structure? No, we ask that you refrain from bringing food and beverages (unless medically necessary)

Are there restrooms at lighthouse? No, there are restrooms located at the Rancho Palos Verdes Interpretive center next door.
