U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary District 11sr, Division 3, Flotilla 3-5

On the 2nd Saturday of each month (except in March when it is opened on the first Saturday to coincide with Rancho Palos Verdes' Whale of a Day Festival), the U.S. Coast Guard Aids to Navigation Team Los Angeles and the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary join to open Point Vicente Lighthouse for visitors.

Point Vicente is a cylindrical
style lighthouse constructed in 1926.
It is home to a third order
Fresnel Lens which
is still an active
aid to navigation.
